FOR
REHABILITATION OF TUTUO – USOKE UNPAVED REGIONAL ROAD
1.This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) which appeared in the Tanzania Procurement Journal,
Volume XII – No. 28 of 9th July, 2019.
2. The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) -Tabora Region during the financial year 2019/20. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the funds will be used to cover eligible payments under the Contracts for Road and Bridge Maintenance Works on Trunk and Regional Roads.
The TANROADS Regional Manager,Tabora Region, on behalf of the Chief Executive TANROADS, now invites sealed Tenders from Eligible National Civil Engineering Contractors registered with the Contractors Registration Board (CRB) in specified classes for the works with following indicative quantities of major items:

4.Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering (NCT) procedures for all Tenders; as specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 -Government Notice No. 446 and is open to national tenderers only.
5. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the Regional Manager’s Office TANROADS Tabora located in Tabora Municipality, Bachu area along Boma Road P.O. Box 2,Tabora,Telephone & Fax No. 0262604240, and Email: [email protected] from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
6. A complete set of Tendering Documents in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee indicated on the table under paragraph 3. Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’s Draft or Banker’s Cheque payable to TANROADS Regional Manager,Tabora Region.
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.
8. All Tenders in one original plus two photocopies properly filled in and enclosed in plain envelopes and clearly marked “TENDER for REHABILITATION OF TUTUO – USOKE UNPAVED REGIONAL ROAD TENDER No. AE/001/2019-20 /TB/W/60 NOT TO BE OPENED BEFORE 10:00 HOURS LOCAL TIME ON 13th AUGUST, 2019” must be delivered to the address below at or before 10:00 hours local time on TUESDAY, 13th AUGUST, 2019.Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ Representatives who choose to attend in the Opening Ceremony at the TANROADS Regional Manager’s Office Conference Room,Tabora Region.
Late Tenders, portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, and not opened and not read out in public at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
