INVITATION FOR TENDERS

TENDERS No AE/001/2019-20/MBY/W/01-11 and 24

For

Routine/Recurrent Maintenance, Periodic Maintenance, Spot Improvement Works and Bridge Major Repair along Trunk & Regional Roads in Mbeya Region

This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN No 1) for these Contracts which was published on www.ppra. go.tz on l3ch May, 2019. : The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operations of the Tanzania National Roads Agency :

(TANROADS) Mbeya Region during the financial year (FY) 2019-20 and it is intended that part of the proceeds of the funds will : be used to cover eligible payments under various Contracts for Routine/Recurrent Maintenance, Periodic Maintenance and Spot Improvement Works along Trunk & Regional Roads in Mbeya Region. TANROADS Regional Manager, Mbeya Region, on behalf of the Chief Executive TANROADS, now invites sealed Tenders from eligible National (Local) Civil Engineering Contactors registered with the Contractors Registration Board (CR8) in Classes 5 specified in table below, for carrying out various works mentioned in table given below:

Tendering will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding procedures specilied in the Public Procurement Regulations. 2013Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016 and Is open to national Tenderers only as defined In the Regulations unless otherwise stated In the Tender Data Sheet.

Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from 09.00 to 15:30 hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, except on public holidays, and inspect the Tendering Documents at the Office of:

A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee as specified In table given under paragraph 3 above. Payment should either be by Cash or Banker’s Cheque, payable to TANROADS Regional Manager, Mbeya Region.

All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents, unless otherwise stated in the respective Tender Data Sheet.

All Tenders In W properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address given in paragraph 5 above at or before 10:00 hours on the following days:

Tenders will be opened thereafter in public and In the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend the opening ceremony to be held at TANROADS Regional Manager’s Office, Conference room.

All Tenderers shall assemble at the TANROADS Regional Manager‘s Office Mbeya at 08:30 am on the date of the visit The Pre-Tender meeting will take place Immediately after the site visits. Note that, Tenders shall have to arrange for their own transport tor the site visits.

Late Tenders, portion of Tenders. electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out In public at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation Irrespective of the circumstances.
