Services and Repair of Fire Extinguishers, Weighbridges l and Weighing Scales Under Framework Contract
Invitation for Tenders
1.This Invitation for bids follows the General Procurement Notice which published in the Tender portal and Tanzania Procurement Journal on 5th August, 2019 and 6th August, 2019 respectively.
2. The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the National Food Reserve Agency during the financial year 2019/2020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for Services and Repair of Fire Extinguishers, Weighbridge: and Weighing Scales Under Framework Contract.
3. The National Food Reserve Agency now invites sealed tenders from eligible and qualified service providers for Services and Repair of Fire Extinguishers, Weighbridges and Weighing Scales Under Framework Contract as follows:

4. The bidder must quote for one, two or all lots for all quantities specified in each lot. Bid for incomplete lot will be considered non-responsive and rejected.
5. Tendering will be conducted through National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations (Amendment) GN 333, 2016 which reads as one with Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 as defined in the Regulations.
6. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary, National Food Reserve Agency Tender Board P.O. Box 1050 Dodoma, Kizota, Industrial Area, plot No 63 from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm on Monday to Friday inclusive except on Public Holidays.
7. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon glven Control number for payment of a non-refundable fee of Tshs 100,000 (Tanzania Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only).
8. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in an acceptable form provided in the tender document.
9. All tenders in one original plus two copies, properly tilled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address below: ”The Secretary, National Food Reserve Agency Tender Board, Kizota, West Industrial Area, P. O. Box 1050, DODOMA”. The outer envelope must clearly be marked ”TENDER NO. AE 054/2019/2020/HQ/NC/07 FOR THE SERVICES AND REPAIR OF FIRE EXTINGUISHERS, WEIGHBRIDGES AND WEIGHING SCALES NOT TO BE OPENED BEFORE 10:00 HOURS LOCAL TIME ON MONDAY, 9TH SEPTEMBER, 2019″. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend In the opening ceremony to be held at the conference room of National Food Reserve Agency, P.O. Box 1050 Dodoma, Kizota, plot No 63, West Industrial Area.
10. Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out In public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation Irrespective of the circumstances.
