Invitation for Tenders
This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in Daily News paper Issue no. 0856-381 2 dated 2nd August 2018.
The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Ardhi University (ARU) during the financial year 2018/19. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Supply, Install, Test, Train and Commission 200KVA Generator.
The Ardhi University now invites sealed Tenders from eligible supplier for supply, Install, Test, l Train and Commission 200KVA Generator. 1 Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the Public Procurement (Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 & Regulation 2016 -Government Notice No.333 and is open to all Tenders as defined in the Regulations.
Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Tender Board Secretary of the Ardhi University Administration Building Third Floor Room No. 405 P. O. Box 35176, Dar es Salaam from 08:00hrs to 16:00hrs on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Documents in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzanian Shillings one hundred Thousand only (TZS. 100,000/=). Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to the Vice Chancellor, Ardhi University Dar es Salaam.
All Tenders must be accompanied with a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.
All Tenders in one original plus one copy, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address Tender Board Secretary, Ardhi University P. O. Box 35176, Dar es Salaam, Administration Building Third Floor Room No. 405 at or before 11:00am Thursday, 2nd May, 2019. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Ardhi University Council Chamber.
Late Tenders, portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, and riot opened and not read out in public at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
