Supply, Installation, Commissioning and , training for Medical Incinerator Invitation for Tenders Re-advertised
1. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Benjamin Mkapa Hospital during the f1nancialyear 201 9/2020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Supply, Installation, Commissioning and Training for Medical Incinerator.
2. The Benjamin Mkapa Hospital now invites sealed Tenders from eligible contractors registered or capable of being registered in their relevant classes for carrying out the Supply, Installation, Commissioning and Training for Medical Incinerator.
3. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding specified in the Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No.446 as amended in 2016 and is open to all Tenderers as denned in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet (TDS).
4. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary of the Tender Board, Benjamin Mkapa Hospital, Third Floor, Room no 087, P.O.Box 11088, Dodoma, from 7.30 am to 3.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
5. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzanian Shillings 100,000: (One hundred Thousand Shillings only). Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to Executive Director, Benjamin Mkapa Hospital.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender securing declaration in the format provided in the Tendering documents unless otherwise stated in the TDS.
7. All Tenders in one original plus Two copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address Secretary, Benjamin Mkapa Hospital Building Room no 087,Third Floor, P.O.Box 11088 Dodoma at or before 1 1.00 am on Monday 16th September, 2019.Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Benjamin Mkapa Hospital Building, third Floor Board Room.
8. Late Tenders, portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, and Tenders not received, Tenders not opened at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
