This invitation for tender follows the General Procurement Notice for this project that appeared in United Nations Development Business (UNDB) Issue No. WB1907-04/16 of April 27, 2016.
The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania through Judiciary has received credit from the International Development Association (IDA) a financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the citizen- Centric Judiciary Modernization and Justice Service Delivery Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Local Area Network and other ICT equipment for Modernization of ICT Infrastructure to Twenty Three (23) New Erected Court Buildings
The Judiciary of Tanzania now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Local Area Network and other ICT equipment for Modernization of ICT Infrastructure to Twenty-Three (23) New Erected Court Buildings in the following Lots:
| Lot 1: | Services for Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of LAN |
| Lot 2: | Services for Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of various ICT Equipment. |
Note: Bidders are required to bid for only one Lot.
Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers dated January 2011 (revised July 2014 (‘Procurement Guidelines’), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the office of the Secretary of Tender Board, Judiciary of Tanzania and inspect the bidding documents during office hours from 0900 to 15:00 Local hours on Mondays to Fridays except on public holidays at the address given below.
A complete set of bidding documents in English language may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Tanzania Shillings 250,000 or its equivalent in any freely convertible currency. The document will be collected physically from the address given below.
Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 11:00 Local hours on Thursday 04th July, 2019. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below immediately thereafter submission deadline.
All bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security” of 2.5% of the Bid Price.
