FOR SUPPLY, INSTALLATION, TESTING AND COMMISSIONING OF SLAUGHTERING EQUIPMENT
Invitation for Tenders
1.This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in Tanzania Procurement Journal 2019/20.
2. The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Kibaha Town Council (KTC) during the financial year 2019/2020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for Supply, installation,Testing and Commissioning of Slaughtering Equipment.
3. The Government Procurement Services Agency on behalf of Kibaha Town Council (KTC) now invites sealed Tenders from eligible suppliers for carrying out the Supply, Installation .Testing and Commissioning of Slaughtering Equipment.
4. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering specified in the Procurement Regulations, 2013 -Government Notice No.456 as amended in 2016 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in ,the Tender Data Sheet (TDS).
5. Interested eligible Tender; may obtain ’further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary, Government Procurement Services Agency Tender Board, P. O. Box 9150. Dar es Salaam from 8:00am to 3:00 pm hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
6. A complete set of Tendering Documents in English may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzania Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only (TZS 100,000.00). Payment should be made after getting CONTROL NUMBER from GPSA Office. Banking particulars (Banking pay in Slips) should be submitted to the GPSA Office for acknowledgment of payment. Payment out of control number shall not be acceptable.
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender securing declaration in the format provided in the Tendering documents unless otherwise stated in theTDS. ’
8. All tenders in one (1) original plus one (1) copy, properly filled in. and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the following address: Secretary, Government Procurement Services Agency Tender Board. Keko Mwanga Area. Nyerere Road/Boharl Street P. 0. Box 9150, Dar es Salaam Tanzania; Administration Block. Room No. 11 on Thursday 12th December, 2019 at or before 10:00 Hours Local Time. Envelopes shall bear the words: “LGA/011/2019/2020/G/18: DO NOT OPEN BEFORE Thursday 12th December. 2019 AT 10:00 HOURS LOCAL T IME” Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the GPSA Conference room.
9. Late Tenders. portion of Tenders. electronic Tenders, Tenders not received. Tenders not opened at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
