This invitation for tender the General procurement Notice for this project that appeared in United Nations Development Business (UNDB) Issue No issue No. WBl907-04/16 of April 27, 2016.

The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has received credit from the International Development Association (IDA) toward the cost of the Citizen Centric Judiciary Modernization and Justice Service Delivery project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply, Installation, Test and Commissioning of gadgets (POS) and ICT Equipment for utilization of GePG Government system.

The Judiciary of Tanzania now invites sealed Bids from eligible bidders for Supply, Installation, Test and Commissioning of gadgets (POS) and ICT Equipment for. utilization of GePG Govemment system:

Lot 1: Supply of Gadgets (POS) for utilization of GePG system; and

L012. Supply, Installation, Test and Commissioning of ICT Equipment for utilization of GePG system.

Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods Works and Non-Consulting: Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants b World Bank Borrowers dated January 2011 (revised July 2014) (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the office of the Secretary of Tender Board, Judiciary of Tanzania and inspect the bidding documents during office hours from 08:00hrs to 15: 30hrs on Monday to Friday except on public holidays at the address given below.

A complete set of bidding documents in English Language may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Tanzania shillings 200,000.

Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before Friday 14th June, 2019 Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below on Friday 14th June, 2019.

All bids must be accompanied with a Bid Security of 2.5% of the Bid Price for each lot. The Bid Security shall be clearly addressed to the; Chief Court Administrator. Bid Security shall be valid for twenty eight days beyond the bid validity period (i.e 148 days) after bids submission deadline.
