FOR SUPPLY OF HDPE GAS PIPES FITTINGS, DOMESTIC GAS METERS & ASSOCIATED FITTINGS UNDER FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT
Invitation for Tenders
This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in Daily News Issue no. 12,402 , dated 3rd June, 2019.
The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Gas Company (Tanzania) Limited during the financial year ‘ 2019/20. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for Supply of HDPE gas pipe f1ttings, Domestic gas meters & associated f1ttings under framework agreement.
GASCO now invites sealed Tenders from eligible service providers for Supply of HDPE gas pipes fittings, Domestic gas meters & ‘ associated fittings under framework agreement as follows:

Tenderers may bid for a single lot or both lots, but in each case tenderers shall quote for all items and quantities specified in each lot. Bidders not quoting for all items and quantities in a lot will be considered non-responsive. Bidders may be awarded a single lot 1 or both lots
Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement r Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations. ,’ j 6. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the 1 . submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS 100,000 (Tanzania shillings One Hundred Thousand Only). Payment should be made through NMB Bank, Account Name: Gas Company (T) Limited, Account Number: 22310029011 payable to Gas Company (Tanzania) Limited.
Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the g Secretary of Tender Board, Gas Company (Tanzania) Limited, Plot No.1 Block D, Kibaga Street, Kinyerezi Gas Receiving Station, Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania, Room number 04 on the 1st floor from 0900 to 1500 hours on Monday to Friday inclusive 1 except on Public Holidays
All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration, in the format provided in the Tendering Documents. All tenders in one original plus two copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes marked ”SUPPLY OF HDPE GAS PIPES FITTINGS, DOMESTIC GAS METERS & ASSOCIATED FITTINGS UNDER FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT,’ NOT TO BE OPPENED BEFORE 18TH DECEMBER, 2019 11:00HRS”. Must be delivered to the Gas Company (Tanzania) Limited, Plot No.1 Block D, Kibaga Street, Kinyerezi Gas Receiving Station, Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania, Room number 04 on the 1st floor on or before 18th December 2019, 11:00hours. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Kinyerezi Boardroom at 1st floor.
Late Tenders, portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, and not opened and not read out in public at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
