Invitation for Tender
TENDER NO. AE/001/2019 -20/LD/G/06 FOR SUPPLY OF LABORATORY EQUIPMENT
1. This Specific Procurement notice for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Region which was posted in the Authority’s Journal and Tenders Portal on 09th May, 2019.
2. The Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) through the Regional Manager’s office Lindi has been allocated Funds towards the cost for purchasing Laboratory equipment and intends to use part of the proceeds of this allocation to cover eligible payments under the contracts for supplying Laboratory equipment.
3. The Regional Manager TANROADS Lindi on behalf of the Chief Executive TANROADS now invites sealed tenders from eligible suppliers to supply Laboratory equipment
- Approximate major items are as follows:
- Particle size density determination equipment
- Unconfined Compressive Strength (UCS) equipment Initial – Consumption of Lime (ICL) equipment
- Aggregates and Concrete tests equipment
- Asphalt Concrete testing set
- Other assorted Laboratory testing equipment
4. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations 2013 Government Notice No.446 as amended in in 2016.
5. Interested eligible tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the tendering documents at the Regional Manager‘s thce TANROADS Lindi located in Lindi Town, along Kawawa Road, P. O. Box 1022, Lindi from 8:00 am. to 430 pm. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
6. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English Language and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tshs 30,000.00. for each tender. Payment should either be by Cash, 0! Banker’s Cheque, payable to the Regional Manager TANROADS P.O Box 1022 Lindi
7. All tenders one original plus three (3) copies properly filled in and enclosed in plain sealed envelopes must be delivered 01 sent to the address below at or before 10.00 hours on 23″August,2019. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend at the Regional Manager’s Office. conference room – Lindi.
8. The outer cover shall clearly be marked “TENDER NO. AE/001/2019 -20/LD/G/06 FOR SUPPLYING LABORATORY EQUIPMEM IN LINDI REGION. NOT TO BE OPENED BEFORE 10:00 HOURS ON 23″ August. 2019.”
9. Late tandem, portion of tenders, electronic tenders, and tenders not received, tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
