FOR SUPPLY OF LUBRICANTS OILS FOR ZANZIBAR PORTS CORPORATION
TENDER INVITATION
This invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for the year 2019/20 which appeared in the Zanzibar leo of 5th July 2019.
Zanzibar Ports Corporation (ZPC) has set aside funds in its 2019/2020 budget to cover for SUPPLY OF LUBRICANTS OILS
ZPC now invites sealed tenders under National Competitive Bidding procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act No. 11 of 2016 (Goods, Works, Non-Consultancy Service and Disposal of Public Assets by Tender).
Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of the Head of Procurement and Disposal Unit of ZPC HQ Building, Finance Department, Room No. 210 from 09.00 am. to 3.30 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of the tendering document and additional sets may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written ‘application to the address given under paragraph 4 above upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS 100,000.00. Payment should be either by banker’s cheque or cash payable to the Director General
All tenders must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the format of Bank Guarantee of this tender Document. Tenders not accompanied by a bid security in the given format will be rejected.
All Tenders duly completed in one original plus one copy should be submitted in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked ”TENDER NO SMZ/F.123/G/ICB/20l9-2020/04 FOR SUPPLY OF LUBRICANTS OIL F OR ZANZIBAR PORTS CORPORATION and addressed to Secretary of Tender Board, ZPC P.O. Box 263, Zanzibar.
The deadline for submission of tenders shall be 31th December, 2019 at 14.00 p.m. local time; thereafter all tenders will be opened publicly in ZPC Finance Department, Conference Room No.01 Bidders and/or their Representatives who wish to witness the opening are welcome to attend.
Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
Note that Zanzibar Ports Corporation is not obliged to accept the lowest or any Bid.
