SUPPLY OF POSTPAID DOMESTIC WATER METER AND FITTING
1.The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of Ministry of Water during the financial year 2019/2020.” is intended that part of the proceeds of the funds will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for Supply of Postpaid Domestic Water Meters and Fittings.
2. The Ministry of Water (MoW) now invites sealed tenders from eligible Suppliers for the supply of Postpaid Domestic Water Meters and Fittings:

3. Tendering will be conducted through International Competitive Tendering a procedure specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016 and is open to interested eligible suppliers as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Tender Document
4. The interested eligible suppliers. May obtain further information from Secretary Ministerial Tender Board, Ministry of Water, Email: [email protected] during office hours from 8.00 to 15:30 on Monday to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays at the address given below Ministry of Water, P. O. Box 456, Kolon Building Opposite DUWASA Head Office. PMU Office, 40473 Dodoma.
5. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and up on payment to a non-refundable teen: Tanzania. Shillings one hundred thousand only (Tshs 100,000.00) Payment shall be made through an electronic payment system therefore interested suppliers are invited to collect the Control number for effecting the payment.
6. All tenders must be accompanied by Bid Security in acceptable form as provided in the bidding document. Bid security must be addressed to Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Water, P. O. Box 456 Dodoma. ,
7. All Tenders in One (1) Original plus three (3) copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in envelop must be delivered to the Secretary, Ministerial Tender Board, Ministry of Water, P. O. Box 456, Kolon Building Opposite DUWASA Head Office, PMU Office, 40473 Dodoma at or before 18th March 2020 at 11:00 local time. Tender will be opened promptly thereafter in Public and in the presence of Tenderers representatives who choose to attend in the opening.
8. Late tenders, portion of tenders, Electronic tenders and tenders not received, tenders not opened in the ceremony will not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of circumstances. ‘
