TENDER FOR SUPPLY OF PRINTING CHEMICAL AND MATERIALS (RE-ADVERTISED)
This invitation for bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in the PPRA Procurement Journal dated 23rd July, 2019 and” In the Tender Portal on 21st July, 201 9.
Tanzania Standard (Newspapers) Limited (TSN) has set aside funds for its operations during the financial year 2019/2020. It Is intended that part of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for supply of Printing Chemical and Materials.
TSN now invites sealed bids from eligible national suppliers.
Bidding will be conducted through the procurement methods indicated in No.2 and in the Public Procurement (Goods, Works, Non Consultant Service and Disposal of Public Assets by Tender) Regulations, 2013(as Amended) 2016, Government Notice No. 446 and are open to all Bidders as defined in the Regulations.
Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of the Secretary, TSN Tender Board, TSN, Head office located on Plot No 11/04 along Nelson Mandela Expressway, Telephone No. +255 (22) 2864864 / 286487/28608390, PO. Box 9033, Dar es Salaam from 08:00 to 16:30 hours on Monday to Friday except on public holidays.
A complete set of Bidding Document(s) in English and additional set may be purchased by interested Bidders on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzanian Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only (Tshs 100,000/=). Payment should be by Cash, Banker’s Draft or Banker’s Cheque, payable to the Tanzania Standard (Newspapers) Limited.
All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration in the format provided in the bidding documents.
All bids in one original plus one copy, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the Secretary, TSN Tender Board, P.O Box 9033, Dar es Salaam at or before 14:00 hours local time on Monday 18th November, 2019. Bids will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who may choose to attend in the opening at the Boardroom, TSN Headquarters on Plot No. 11/04 along Nelson Mandela Expressway, PO Box 9033, Dar es Salaam at 1400 hours local time.
Late bids, portion of bids, electronic bids, bids not received, bids not opened and not read out in public at the bid opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
