FOR THE SUPPLY OF PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION SUPERVISION VEHICLES UNDER THE TSCP AF2
This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in the UN Development Business on April 22, 2010.
The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has received a credit from the International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of Tanzania Strategic Cities Project (TSCP) Second Additional Financing (AF2), coordinated by the President’s Office, Regional Administration and Local Government (PO-RALG) through Project Coordination Unit (PCU) within the Tanzania Rural and Urban Roads Agency (TARURA). It is intended that part of the proceeds of the credit will be used to cover eligible payments under the contract for the Supply of Project Implementation Supervision Vehicles under the T SCPAFZ.
The President’s Office Regional Administration and Local Government (PO-RALG), now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualitied bidders for the Supply of Project Implementation Supervision Vehicles: 4WD Double Cabin Pickups 11 units and 4WD Station Wagon Motor Vehicles 2 units. The delivery period is a maximum of 26 weeks.
Bidding will be conducted though the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits (current edition), and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines
