INVITATION FOR TENDERS
FOR
SUPPLY OF ROLLER TEST WEIGHTS FOR CALIBRATION OF FIXED
WEIGHBRIDGES
TENDER No: AE/001/2019-20/HQ/G/02
1. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) during the FY 2019/20. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Supply of Roller Test Weights for Calibration of Fixed Weighbridges, Tender No. AE/001/2019-20/HQ/G/02.
2. TANROADS now invites sealed tenders from eligible local tenderers for Supply of Roller Test Weights for Calibration of Fixed Weighbridges, Tender No. AE/001/2019-20/HQ/G/02.
3. The tender is Exclusive for local tenderers as specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016.
4. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary, TANROADS
Headquarters Tender Board, 4th Floor, Airtel House, Ali Hassan Mwinyi/Kawawa Roads Junction, Dar es Salaam from 8:00 hours to 16.30 hours local time, Mondays to Fridays inclusive, except on Public Holidays.
5. A complete set of the Tendering Document(s) in English language and additional sets may be purchased by any interested local Tenderer on submission of a written application to the address given in paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TShs. 100,000.00 (Tanzania Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only) or its equivalent in freely convertible currency for each set, which has to be paid with reference to Government e-Payment Gateway System (GePG) – Control Number to be issued by the Accounts Section at TANROADS Headquarters.
6. All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.
7. All tenders in one (1) original plus two (2) copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the Secretary, TANROADS
Headquarters Tender Board, 4th Floor, Airtel House, Ali Hassan Mwinyi/Kawawa Roads Junction, Dar es Salaam at or before 10:00 Hours local time on 30th September 2019. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the TANROADS Conference Room, 4th Floor, Airtel House, Ali Hassan Mwinyi/Kawawa Roads, Junction, Dar es Salaam.
8. Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
