INVITATION FOR TENDERS
Date: 22 April 2021
1. This invitation for Tender follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for the Financial Year 2020/2021 through TCAA website, Tanzania Procurement Journal issue No. ISSN: 1821-6021 Vol XII 37 dated 08 July 2020.
2. Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA) has set aside funds in the financial year 2020/2021 for the procurement of various goods works & services. The Authority intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments due under the contract for which this invitation for Supply of Spares and Test Gears for Communication Navigational and Surveillance Equipment for Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority is issued.

3. Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority now invites sealed tenders from eligible Suppliers for supplying the goods as described in the Schedule of Requirements in Section VI.
4. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering (NCT) Method procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 -Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016, and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
5. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary of the Tender Board, Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority, Aviation House, third (3rd) floor-Nyerere/Kitunda Road Junction, Ukonga Banana Area. P.O. Box 2819, Dar es Salaam from 0900Hrs to 1500Hrs, Mondays to Fridays inclusive, except on Public Holidays.
6. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in in English language and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzanian Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only (TZS 100,000.00). Payment should be made through control number issued by TCAA Accounts Section.
7. All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents. ,.
8. Tender in one original plus two (2) copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be address to: Secretary, TCAA – Tender Board, Aviation House, Nyerere/Kitunda Road Junction P.O. Box 2819, Dar es Salaam at or before 1130 Hrs on 17 May 2021 and delivered to Third Floor, Room D4. The outer cover shall be clearly marked “TENDER NO. AE/028/2020-2021/HQ/G/02 FOR SUPPLY OF SPARES AND TEST GEARS FOR COMMUNICATION NAVIGATIONAL AND SURVEILLANCE EQUIPMENT FOR TANZANIA CIVIL AVIATION AUTHORITY

9. Deadline for submission will be on 17 May 2021 at 11:30 Hrs, tender will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Supplier’s representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority’s Conference Room, Aviation House Ground floor, Dar es Salaam.
10. Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
