1. Ministry of  Education, science and technology has received financing world bank toward the cost of the East African Skills for transformation and regulation project and intends to apply part of the proceed towards payments under the contractor for supply of two motor vehicles for this contract.  The borrower shall process the payment using the account or letter of credit, except for those payment which the contract provide to be made through letter of credit
2. The Ministry of education science and technology now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for supply of two motor vehicles on government city Mtumba Area street Dodoma for a delivery period 120 days
3. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a request for bids as specified in the world bank’s  procurement regulation for IFP Borrowers  1^st July 2016 and revised November 017 procurement regulations and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the procurement regulations
4. Interested  eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Education, science and technology from DPMU email [email protected] and inspect to the bidding document during the office hours from 7:30 to 15:30 hours Monday – Friday except on public  holidays at the address given below
5. The bidding document written in English language may be purchased by interested bidders upon the submission of written application letter to the permanent secretary Minisrty of education, science and technology government City Mtumba street Afya Street, P.O. BOX 10,40479 DODOMA – TANZANIA and  upon  payment of non-refundable fee USD 50 OR ITS equivalent of TZS. The method of payment will be done through government electronic payment gateway using control number, where by bidders should request control number from accounting office
6. Bids must be delivered to the secretary of tender board ministry of education, science and technology government City Mtumba street Afya Street, P.O. BOX 10,40479 DODOMA – TANZANIA at the PMU office on or before 29 April 2020 10:00 hours local time. Electronic bidding will not be permitted, late bid will be rejected, and bids shall be submitted on original and 3 copies bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders.  Designated representative and anyone who choose to attend at Mtumba conference room no 22 Ministry of Education, science and technology Dodoma AT 10: 00 on 29 April 2020
7. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security TZS 5,520,000
8. Attention is drawing to the procurement regulation requiring the borrower to  disclose information on the successful bidders beneficial ownership as part of the contract award notice using the beneficial ownership disclosure form as included in the bidding document
