1. This invitation for bids follows the general procurement notice for this project that appeared in the UNDB online project ID P-ZI-EAZ-054 of 4th March on-online African Development Bank groups internet website
2. The Secretariat of the Joint Songwe River Basin Commission has received a grant from the global environment facility through the AFDB towards the cost of the implementing strengthening trans-boundary cooperation and granted natural resources management in the Songwe Basin. It is intend that part of the proceeds of this grant will be eligible payments under the contract execution for supply of the following goods

3. The Secretariat of the Joint Songwe River Basin Commission now invites Sealed bids form eligible bidders for the above mentioned tenders
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain tender document from the office of the  Secretary of the joint Songwe River Basin Commission P.O. BOX 300, Kyela Tanzania from 9:00 – 17:00 from Monday – Friday inclusive except on public holidays
5. A complete set of tender document in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application o the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of non refundable fee of USD FIFITY for bid document. The method of payment will be either by banker cheque or TISS Payable to

• Tendering will be conducted through national competitive procedures specified in the United Republic of Tanzania public procurement regulations 2013- government notice no 446 as amended 2016 and are open to all bidders as defined in the regulations unless otherwise stated in the tender data sheet
• Bids must be delivered to the above mentioned office on or before 14:00 on 18^th  September 2020 EAT  and must be accompanied by an unconditional tender security in an acceptable form in the amount of not less than 2% of the bid price
• Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of bidders representatives who choose to attend in the opening at 11:30 hors  on 18^th September  at the office of the  Secretary of the joint Songwe River Basin Commission P.O. BOX 300, Kyela Tanzania at former water department building  Kalumbu Area near kyela Resort Hotel

9. Late tenders, portion of enders, electronic tender and tenders not received, tenders not opened not read out in the public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances
