INVITATION FOR BIDS
TENDER NO IE/035/2020-21/JKT/HQ/G/01
SUPPLY OF VARIOUS ITEMS
1. This invitation of bids follows general procurement notice for this financial year 2020/2021 which appeared in Daily News and Habari Leo dated 27th July 2020 and 28th July 2020 respectively
2. The government of Tanzania has a set aside fund for the operations of the Ministry of Defence and National Services during the financial year 2020/2021. Its intended that part of the proceed of the funds will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for supply of various items
3. The JKT Tender Board now invites sealed bids from eligible suppliers of various goods and services as stipulated below under national competitive bidding procedures specified in the public procurement act 2011 (goods, works, non-consultancy services and disposal public asset by tenders) and regulations 2013 – government notice no 446

- Bidding will be conducted using the national competitive bidding procedures as specified I the public procurement regulations 2013 – government notice no 446 and are open to all bidders as defined in the regulations
- Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding document at the office of the Secretary JKT Tender Board, National Service HQ, Chamwino, P.O. BOX 2963, DODOMA from 8:00 – 2:00 PM Monday – Friday inclusive except public holidays
- A complete set of tendering documents and additional sets may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of written application to the secretary, JKT Tender Board National Service HQ, O.P. BOX 2963 Dodoma and upon payment of non-refundable fee of 50,000/= per lot. Payments should be made to the cash office National Service HQ
- All bids must be accompanied by a bidding securing declaration in the format provided in the bidding document
- All bids must be complete in one original plus 2 copies should be enclosed and submitted in plain sealed envelopes marked TENDER NO IE/035/2020-21/JKT/HQ/G/01 lot number and name must be delivered by hand to the address below at or before 12; 00 am 12th August 2020. Bids will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of bidders representatives who choose to attend in opening at the National Services HQ Chamwino Dodoma
- Late bids, portion of bids, electronic bids, bids no received, bids not opened and not read out in a public a the bid opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances
