FOR

SUPPLY OF WATER METERS AND ASSOCIATED FITTINGS FINANCED BY MINISTRY OF WATER

1. The government of Tanzania has a set aside fund for the operation of the MAUWASA during the financial year 2020/2021. Its intends that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the supply of water meter and associated fittings
2. The MAUWASA now invited sealed tender from the eligible suppliers of supply of water meter and associated fittings
3. Tendering will b conducted through the national competitive tender in procedures specified in the public procurement regulations 2013- government notice 446 as amended in 2016 and is open to all tenders as defined in the regulations
4. Interested eligible tenders may obtain further information from and inspect the tendering document at the office of the secretary of tender boardroom number 2 MAUWASA P.O. BOX 185 Tel 028-2750237/2750375 email [email protected] and [email protected]
5. All tenders’ document shall be collected at the office of the Secretary of Tender Board number 2 MAUWASA P.O. BX 185 Maswa Mobile 0765764574 from 9;00 – 4;00 PM Monday – Friday inclusive except public holidays
6. A complete set of tender in document in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested on the submission of written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon of non refundable fee of TZS 100,00/=.Payment should either be by cash, banker draft, or banker cheque, payable to Managing Director MAUWASA P.O. BOX 185
7. All tenders must be accompanied by tender securing declaration form in the format provided in the tendering documents
8. All tenders in one original plus 3 copies properly filled in and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address of the Secretary of tender board room number 2 MAUWASA P.O. BOX 185 Tel 0765 764 574 email [email protected] and [email protected] room number two at or before 3;30 PM on 15th July 2020 . tenders will be open promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of the tenders representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the MAUWASA main hall
9. Late tenders, portion of tenders, electronic tenders, tenders not received, tenders not opened and not read out in the public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstance
