Supply of Wooden Poles and its tension hooks in a Framework Contract

1. This invitation for Bids Follows the General Procurement Notes for the Project which appeared in Zanzibar Leo newspaper issue no, 6286 dated 14th July, 2021.
2. The Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar has set aside funds for the operation of the Zanzibar Information Communication Technology infrastructure Agency during the financial year 2021/2022.It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the supply of wooden paper and its tension hooks in a framework contract of Supply of Fiber Equipment.
3. The Zanzibar information Communication Technology Infrastructure Agency now invites sealed bid from eligible Suppliers for supplying of Wooden Poles and its tension hooks as shown in the table below:

4. Bidding wild be conducted though the National Competitive Bidding procedures specified in the public procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act no.11 of 2016 and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Regulation unless otherwise state in the Bid Date Sheet.
5. Interested Bidders may obtain information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of the Zanzibar information Communication Technology infrastructure Agency P.O.BOX 1823 Mazizni Zanzibar from 08:00 to 15:00 or throughout website www.zicta.go.tz and email [email protected] on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except public holidays.
6. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Bidders on the submission of written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS 200,000 Payment should be settled through the following Account details,

7. All bidding must be accompanied by a Bid Security of Tanzanian Shillings 2,000,000/= in appropriate form as described in Instruction to Bidders.
8. All Bids in one original plus 2 copies properly filled in and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address

9. Late bids portion of bids electronic bids and bids not received bids not opened and read out in public at the bids opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation of the circumstance
