LOT 1B SUPPLYING DC POWER SYSTEM S (RECTIFIERS AND BATTERIES) FOR VARIOUS PROJECTS
Invitation for Tenders
1.The Telecommunications Corporation has set aside funds for the operation of the Network during the financial year 2019 2020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Lot 1B Supplying DC Power Systems (Rectifiers and Batteries) for various projects.
2. The Tanzania Telecommunications Corporation now invites sealed tenders from eligible Suppliers of DC Power Systems (Rectifiers and Batteries).
3. Tendering will be conducted through the International Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 -Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016, and are open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Extelcoms Building, 7th Floor, 32samora Avenue, P. 0. Box 9070, 11950Dar es Salaam. Tel: 255 22 2 14 2568/ 2590; e-mail [email protected] from08:00 hours to 16:30 hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
5. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS 150,000 00. Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’s
6. Draft, or Banker’ s Cheque, payable to TTCL Corporation Headquarter Cashier on ground floor, Extelecoms House.
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security in an acceptable form in the amount of 1% of the total bid value or freely convertible currencies in case of foreign Tenderers.
8. All tenders in one original plus one copy, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address Extelcoms Building, 7th Floor, 32Samora Avenue, P. 0. Box 9070,11950Dar es Salaam at or before 14.00 HRS local time on 5th November, 2013 .Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend m the opening at the 12th floor, Extelecom Building, 32Samora Avenue, 11950Dar es Salaam.
9. Late Tenders, Portion u. Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
