Invitation for Tenders
This invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in ZANZIBAR LEO lssue no. 5465 dated WEDNESDAY,15 AUGUST,2018.
The Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar has set aside funds for the operation of the ZANZIBAR BUREAU OF STANDARDS (285) during the financial year 2018-2019. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payments under the contract for the SUPPLYING, INSTALLATION, TESTING AND TRAINING OF COMPUTERS AND ICT PERIPHERALS
The Zanzibar Bureau of Standards (285) now invites sealed tenders from eligible National Competitive Bidders Suppliers of SUPPLYING, INSTALLATION, TESTING AND TRAINING OF COMPUTERS AND ICT PERIPHERALS
Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures specified in the Public Procurement (Goods, Works and Disposal of Public Assets by Tender) section 66(1) and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Zanzibar Bureau of Standards located at AMAAN-industrial Park , Urban, P.O.Box 1136, ZANZIBAR-TANZANIA, Tel +222 24 2232225 Room No. 9 from 9:00am to 15:30pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English Language and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee Tanzania Shillings One Hundred Thousand (100,000/=). Payment should either be by Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to Zanzibar Bureau of Standards (285). All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender security in the form of Banker’s cheque or Bank Guarantee in an acceptable form in the amount of or freely convertible currencies in Tanzanian Shillings One Million (TZS 1,000,000/=) or freely convertible currencies in case of foreign currency.
All tenders in one original plus two copy, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address below Zanzibar Bureau of Standards at AMAAN INDUSTRIAL PARK,P.O.BOX 1 136. ZANZIBAR at or before 10:30 at 22th Tuesday May,2019. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Zanzibar Bureau of Standards at Conference room no. 6.
Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
