THE PROVISION OF CARBON STEEL PIPE, FITTINGS & FLANGES NPS 24 AND GREATER

Worley Europe Limited as EPcmC Early Services Contractor for EACOP Project invites experienced and reputable Contractors to express their interest in providing Carbon Steel Pipe, Fittings & Flanges NPS 24 and Greater Package for the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) Project.
The Republic of Uganda, the Uganda National Oil Company (UNOC), the United Republic of Tanzania and/or Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC), as well as other international oil companies partaking in the development of Exploration Areas 1, 1A, 2 and Kingfisher Discovery Area in the Albertine Graben in Uganda or their affiliates will participate in the implementation of the EACOP Project (Potential Pipeline Participants).
The EACOP Project development involves the engineering, construction, operation and maintenance of a crude oil export pipeline crossing Uganda and Tanzania and an onshore Marine Terminal in Chongoleani, near Tanga Port in Tanzania.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SCOPE OF THE MATERIALS
The EACOP requirements for the supply of the following Carbon Steel Pipe, Fittings and Flanges NPS 24 and greater shall include the following, but will not necessarily be limited to:
- Pipe – Carbon steel, NPS 24 and greater, submerged arc welded. API 5L Gr. X60 PSL2 / X65M, wall thickness up to 38.9mm.
- Fittings – Carbon steel, NPS 24 and greater, ASME B16.9 / MSS SP-75, ASTM A860 WPHY 60/65 or ASTM A350 LF6, to match wall thickness up to 38.9mm.
- Flanges – Carbon steel, NPS 24 and greater, ASME B16.5 Class 900, ASTM A350LF6, to match wall thickness up to 38.9mm.
- Blanks & Spacers – Carbon steel, NPS 24 and greater,
- ASME B16.5 Class 900, ASTM A516 Gr. 70. •
- Gaskets – Ring joint gaskets, Soft Iron 90 HB Max, to suit flanges NPS 24 and greater;
- Stud Bolts & Nuts-ASTM A193 B7/A194 Gr 2H, Hot Dipped Galvanised.
The scope will include sourcing/ manufacture, factory testing including impact test requirements of ASME Code, delivery FCA vendor and guarantees. The Piping materials are required to manufacture piping spools to ASME B31.3/4 that are associated with Pipeline Pump Stations, Pressure Reduction Stations, and the Main Storage Terminal.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Companies expressing their interest are invited to document their request with:
- A commitment to and evidence that they have experience in developing local / national content value.
- Confirmation that they can manufacture Carbon Steel Pipe, fittings and Flanges in accordance with ASME.
- An experience list for similar equipment supplied to the Oil and Gas market in the last five (5) years.
- A copy of their own and main suppliers ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 & OHSAS 18001 (IS045001:2015) current certification.
- Extracts from their Supply Quality Management Procedures, showing how material quality control is implemented in the supply chain and identify what positive material identification is implemented through the manufacturing process.
- Two (2) years look ahead shop loading charts for the facilities intended to manufacture, assemble and test.
Interested companies which meet the minimum requirements and have the capacity to provide the goods listed above should express their interest by sending together with the above listed documents an email to [email protected] (Max. Companies satisfactorily meeting the above minimum requirements will receive, subject to the signature of a NonDisclosure Agreement (NDA), a detailed pre-qualification questionnaire for further evaluation by Company.
NOTE: Only pre-qualified companies will receive an invitation to submit their bid in furtherance of the Call for Tender process.
