INVITATION FOR BID

FOR THE SUPPLY OF OIL AND LUBRICANTS

1. TAZARA intends to will make funds for its operation for the financial year 2020/2021. Its intends that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payments under the contract for the supply of various engine oils and lubricants
2. TAZARA now invites sealed tender for the supply of various engine oils and lubricants
3. bidding will be conducted through the national procedure which are specified in the TAZARA Procurement & supplies manual of November 2011 and its open to all bidders as defined in the Manual
4. Interested and eligible tenders may obtain further information and inspect the tendering documents from the office of the Secretary of the Central Tender Committee Room No 210 TAZARA Head office Nyerere/ MANDELA Roads Junction P.O. BOX 2384 Dar es Salaam or the office of the TAZARA Lusaka area Manager TAZARA House independence dedan /Kimatin Roads Junction P.O. Box 31784 LUSAKA ZAMBIA from 8:00-16:00 EAT OR CT Monday- Friday
5. A complete set of tendering document in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested tenders on the submission of written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of non-refundable fee of USD 200.00 Payment should be either by cash, banker draft or banker cheques payable to Tanzania – Zambia Railway Authority
6. All tenders must accompanied by bid securing declaration/bid security in the format provided in the bidding documents
7. All bids in one original plus two copies properly filled in and enclosed in plain envelopes marked TENDER NO TZR/HQ/CTC/2019/2020/06 for the supply of various engine oils and lubricants must be delivered to the address indicated below at or before 11:00 on 29 May 2020. Bids will be opened promptly thereafter in pelvic and in the prince of bidders or their representatives who may choose to attend the opening ceremony at TAZARA Head Office Conference Room Dar es Salaam , Tanzania or the office of the TAZARA Lusaka area Manager TAZARA House independence dedan /Kimatin Roads Junction P.O. Box 31784 LUSAKA ZAMBIA BY Friday 28 at or before 10:00 HRS eat. Tendering will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of bidders or representatives who choose to attend the opening ceremony at TAZARA Head Office Board Room Dar es Salaam or TAZARA Lusaka Area Office Board Room Zambia
8. Late tenders, a portion of tenders, electronic tenders, tender not received, tender not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for valuation irrespective of the circumstances
