The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds through Water Sector Development Programme (WSDP) towards j the costs of Procurement of Contractors for construction of water Supply in the Mbulu District Council and intends to appiy_portlon of the funds to eligible payments under the contract for Construction of Gravity Flow Water Scheme for Mongahay, Tumatl and Endesh villages. . |
The Mbulu District Executive Director now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified Civil contractors registered in class V and above to carry put Construction of Gravity Piped Schemes as follows:

Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures Works, Non-Consultants Services and Disposal of ‘ Public Assets by Tender) Regulations specified in the regulation number 151 of the Public Procurement Regulations Government Notice No. 446 of 201 3 and amendment of 201 6. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and Inspect the tender documents at the Office of the District Executive Director, Mbulu District Council, P. O. Box 74, Mbulu, Manyara Region in Tanzania, Tele.: 253301512533016; Fax.: 027-2533016, from 7.30am Monday to Friday inclusive except on public holidays.
Qualification requirement include: Legal Status*(including Registration with the Contractor’s Registration BoardCR8 Certificate) of the bidder, VAT and TIN certificates. Qualifications and experience of key personnel for administration and execution of the contract, proposed l sub-contractors and f1rms involved (if any) and financial status of the bidder.
A set of complete Bidding Documents in English, may be purchased by any interested tendered on address given on paragraph 3 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tshs. 150,000/=
All tenders in one Original plus two copies (enclosed in different envelop marked ORIGINALICOPY), properly filled in, and enclosed ’ shall be submitted at or before (time) 10:00 hours local time on 05/06/2019 at Head of Procurement Management office at Mbulu District Council and the bid will be opened the same day 30 minutes later after deadline time.
Bids will be opened physically in the presence of bidders respective who choose to attend in person at the conference room, Mbulu District Council.
All tenders shall be addressed to the following address: The Secretary of Tender Board, Mbulu District Council, P. O. Box 74, Mbulu, Manyara, Tanzania.
Late bids, portion of bids, electronic bids, bids not received, bids not opened and not read out in public at the bid opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstance.
