TENDER TEMBO NICKEL CORPORATION: KABANGA NICKEL PROJECT
Requests the submission of Expressions of Interest from qualifying parties wanting to participate in the provision of Catering, Cleaning, and Camp Management Services
Tembo Nickel Corporation(“Tembo”) is an operating company formed via the Framework Agreement (19 January 2021) between Kabanga Nickel Limited (“Kabanga Nickel”) and the Government of Tanzania (“GoT”) for the development of the Kabanga nickel deposits in the Ngara District in the Northwest of Tanzania. Under the Framework Agreement terms, Tembo (owned 84% by Kabanga Nickel and 16% by GoT) has been formally established for the mining, processing, and refining of Class 1 nickel with cobalt and copper co-products.
Kabanga is the largest development-ready nickel supplied deposit in the world, unmatched in scale and grade, with at least 30 years’ life of mine and further exploration upside. Once in operation, the Kabanga Nickel Project will produce Class 1 battery-grade nickel, cobalt, and copper refined metals in Tanzania. The cradle-to-gate operation will use hydro met technology that is significantly more cost-efficient than smelting. The hydro met process will reduce the carbon footprint. minimize environmental impact. lower capital. and product ion costs, and contribute significantly to the economic growth of Tanzania.
Tembo Nickel Corporation, therefore, invites “Expressions of Interest” from reputable, experienced, and certified companies interested in pre-qualifying for inclusion in a tender process for the provision of the following Services.
•Preparation of menu for breakfast. lunch, and dinner
•Provision of kitchen equipment. and crockery based on Tembo Nickel requirements
•Cleaning and laundry services
•Supply and installation of 100 accommodation units (prefab containers)
•Supply and maintenance of all equipment as approved by Tembo Nickel
•Comprehensive analysis of current kitchen equipment and laundry machines for the Tembo Nickel review
•Providing strategies (short, medium, and long-term) based on business requirements which if deployed for the management of the camp will be of benefit to the Tembo Nickel
The above services are intended to be awarded through competitive tendering process ·n which a restricted number of suitable qualified and experienced contractors shall be invited to receive the tender documents. If your company would like to be considered for pre-qualification to receive the invitation to tender, please submit an “Expression of Interest” on your company’s letterhead together with the following additional information and/or documentation:
•Full company profile
•Company registration documents i.e., Certificate of incorporation, business license, TIN, VRN, Tax Clearance Certificate and any other business supporting documents.
•Applicable certification, accreditation, and affiliated registration
•Proven experience in catering services
•Years of service and experience of key personnel to be assigned to the project
•Required equipment availability to perform the specific work
