1. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Sengerema District Council during the financial year 2021/2022. It is intended that pan of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Installation of Electrical Lights System along the Road of 5.6 Kilometres long (Road’s Lights). Sengerema District Council now invites scaled Tenders from eligible contractors registered or capable for carrying out works.
- Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the Public Procurement (Goods, Works, Non-Consultant Service and Disposal of Public Assets by Tender) Regulations, 2013
Government Notice No. 446 and are open to national Bidders only as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Bid Data Sheet - Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Sengerema District council in Procurement Management Unit Office and inspect the Bidding Documents at the same address on paragraph no.8, from 08:00am 03:30pm, Mondays to Fridays except public holidays.
- Qualifications requirements include: Legal status of the bidder, proposed major equipment’s for carrying out the works, qualifications and experience of key personnel for administration and execution of the contract, proposed sub-Contractors and firm involved (if any) and financial status of the bidder.
- A complete set of Bidding Documents in English, in hard copy and additional sets may be purchased by any interested bidder on address given on paragraph %below and upon payment of a non -refundable fee of Tanzania shillings One Hundred Thousand only (Tshs.100,000.00) Payment should be made to Bank account of Saigon= District Council. after receiving Control Number of the said amount from Revenue’s Office at Sengerema District Council-
- All Bids in one original plus two copies, properly filled in, and enclosed shall be submitted on or before 13th May, 2022, at 10.30 am Late BIDS will be rejected. BIDS will be promptly opened physically in the presence of the Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the conference mom, Smetana District council.
- All Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration in an acceptable form.

name and number of the Project tendered) - It should he noted that, late Bids, portion of Bids, electronic Bid, Bid not received, Bid not opened and not read out in public at the Bid opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of their circumstances.
