  1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for Zanzibar Revenue Board that appeared in the Zanzibar Leo, Issue no. 6300 dated 3rd August, 2021
  2. The Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar has set aside funds for the operation of the Zanzibar Revenue Board (ZRB) during the financial year 2021/2022. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for supply of office furniture.
  3. Zanzibar Revenue Board (ZRB) -Zanzibar now invites sealed bids from eligible suppliers for supplying of office furniture as follows: –

The above items constitute one (1) lot; the bidders must quote for all items and full quantities specified in the lot.

  1. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act No. 11 of 2016 and are open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Bid Data Sheet.
  2. Interested Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of the Secretary, Tender Board, Zanzibar Revenue Board, second (2nd) Floor, Room No. 209, P. 0, BOX 2072, Mazizini, Zanzibar Revenue Board Building from 8:00 — 17:00 on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
  3. A complete set of Bidding Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Bidders on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzania Shilling One Hundred Thousands (100,000/-). Payment should be settled through the following Account details: Bank name -People Bank of Zanzibar (PBZ). NC Name; Commissioner —Zanzibar Revenue Board and NC No.0404003000.
  4. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Tanzania Shillings Two Million (TZS 2,000,0001-).
  5. All Bids in one original plus plus three (3) copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address: Mazizini- Zanzibar, room no. 209, Floor no. 2nd Floor, Building Name. ZRB Building at or before 10:00hrs Thursday 3rd March, 2022. Bids will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Mazizini- Zanzibar, room no. Board room, Floor no. 4th Floor, Building Name. ZRB Building
  6. Late Bids, Portion of Bids, Electronic Bids, Bids not received, Bids not opened and not read out in public at the bid opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
