The International Executive Service Crops is a Washngton DC Bases economic- development not for profit organization that provides technical assistance to public sector institutions and private companies around the world. IESC has contributed successful to the growth and development of private enterprises in more than 130 countries since its inception 1964
With the Tanzania IESC is the prime implementer of the feed the further Tanzania enabling growth though investment and enterprise program launched in September 2016. Engine is a four-year initiative funded by USAID with the aim of streaming and enhancing many of the regulatory information agricultural regions of Mbeya, Morogoro, and Iringa and in Zanzibar
Engine works at the local government authorities level using broad bases approach to engage with LGA’s private sectors association business development services providers financial institutions and small and medium enterprises. The program activities are divided into three main component
1.Implement policies for Growth
Build the capacity of the private sector effectively dialogues with the government to set the policy agenda development services in Tanzania
2. Equip business for growth
Strengthen the SMEs capacity and foster the growth and capacity of a sustainable market for business development services in Tanzania
3. Access to finance for growth
Broaden access to finance for small and medium sized enterprise in all sectors especially women and youth entrepreneurs and those working within agricultural value chains (excluding primary procedure) to facilitate increased business viability growth and investment
The Engine program is seeking short term consultants to provide technical support in the above mentioned programs areas under the following tittles
CONSULTANT I ASSIGMENT:
Organizational development support to business development services provider regional networks
LOCATIONS: Mbeya, Iringa, Morogoro and Zanzibar
CONSULTANT II ASSIGMENT:
Resource mobilization to strengthen capacity of business development services providers to mobilize resources
LOCATION: Mbeya, Iringa, Morogoroand Zanzibar
