REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
(CONSULTANCY SERVICES) MULTI-NATIONAL: BURUNDUTANZANIA: KABINGO – KASULU – MANYOVU (260.60) -RUMONGE – GITAZA (45KM) ROAD UPGRADING PROJECT
CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR PREPARATION OF CURRICULUMS, CERTIFICATION FRAMEWORKS AND TRAINING OF TRAINERS OF THE REGIONAL CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE FOR ROAD SAFETY AT THE NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TRANSPORT

1. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has received a loan from the African Development Bank (AfOB) to finance the Upgrading of the Kabingo Kasulu. Manyavu Road Section {260.6 km| to Bitumen Standard. It intends to apply part of the proceeds of the loans for eligible payments for consulting services for Preparation of Curriculums, Certification Frameworks and Traming of Trainers of the Regional Centre of Excellence for Road Safety at the National Institute of Transport.
2. The services included under this project are:
(2) Development of road safety training curricula and manuals for the learning programmes related to the five pillars of road safety: prepared into modules with clear and specific objectives appropriate to the identified knowledge and skills needs gap; (by Development of certification frameworks to certify road safety professionals for each learning programme satisfying international best practices for professional certification, {(C) Conduct training of trainers, support First-Maded training for identified learning programmes under cash pillar of road safety and facilitate certification of trainers. The estimated time for execution and completion of the assignment is Twelve (12) calendar months. However, 32 staff months have been allocated for key staff,

The Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) an Executive Agency of the Ministry of Works and Transport now invites eligible Consultants to express their interest in providing the above-mentioned services. Interested Consultants must provide information indicating their qualifications for performing the services, such information may include brochures, descriptions of assignments of similar nature in the last ten (10) years, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate manageable and technical skills among staff related to the assignment, etc. For each project performed, the Consultant shall provide the name and address of the Client, start date and completed dates, name(s) of lead and associate Arms. Cited projects with insufficient information will not be considered. Consultants may constitute joint-venture to enhance their chances of qualification.
4. Eligibility criteria, the establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “Procurement Policy Frame Work, October, 2015” which is available on the Bank’s website at https/:www.afdb.org.
5. Interested Consultants may obtain further information at the address below during office hours from 08:00 local time on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on Public Holidays.
6.
