CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR PREPARATION OF MARKET STRATEGY FOR ZANZIBAR PORTS
CORPORATION.
REQUEST FOR CONSULTANTS FIRMS
EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
1. The Zanzibar Ports Corporation (ZPC) has allocated public funds in its 2021/2022 budget and intends to apply a portion of the funds to eligible payments under the Contract for Consultancy Services for Preparation of Market Strategy and Implementation Plan.
2. ZPC now invites eligible qualified consultancy firms to express their interest in providing the above consultancy services.
3. Consultant’s firms will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act No. 11 of 2016.
4. In assessing the submissions, consideration will be given to the technical competence of the consultancy firms, the qualification and experience of the consultant firms likely to be proposed for the assignment, experience on similar projects and capacity to undertake the assignment. A final consultants’ firms invited to submit proposals for this assignment will be prepared from consultants responding to the notice. Only consultants’ firms that with demonstrated experience and excellent track records in similar assignments of similar nature and magnitude, availability of appropriate skills among the staff will be considered for short listing.
5. This is not a request for proposals. After a review of Expression of interest, a shortlist will be prepared, and those consultants firms short-listed will be invited to submit their proposals through a letter of invitation including specific Terms of Reference.
6. The Expression of Interest shall be submitted to the office of Secretary of Tender Board, Zanzibar Ports Corporation, Head Office Building, Malindi -Zanzibar The deadline for the submission of the Eol is Thursday, 18″ November, 2021 at 11:00 hours. Envelopes containing the Expression of Interest shall be clearly marked Tender No. SMZ/F.123/CS/Eol/2021-2022/01 EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR PREPARATION AND IMPLIMENTATION PLAN OF MARKET STRATEGY FOR ZANZIBAR PORTS CORPORATION -Not to be opened until 18″ November 2021 at 11:00 hours
7. The Expression of Interest (EO!) will be opened immediately after deadline for submission in Public and in the presence of Consultants’ representative who choose to attend in the Conference Room of the Zanzibar Ports Corporation Head Office, Malindi Street, Zanzibar.
8. Any request for clarification with regard to this assignment shall be addressed to Secretary of Tender Board, Zanzibar Ports Corporation, Head Office Building, Malindi-Zanzibar, P. 0. Box 263, email: [email protected] during office hours.
9. The Client shall respond to clarifications received not less than Five days before the deadline for submission.
10. Late Expressions of Interest shall not be accepted for evaluation
irrespective of the circumstances.
