Job Description

We are hiring for the above role where we need Female/Male who know Arusha City Region very well. Qualified candidates should have at least 2-3 years in fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) sales.

Job Title: Sales Executive

Salary: 400,000.00 plus other commissions based on targets achieved

Position Summary:

Our client is a modern producer of a packed-cooking oil, we aim to hire Sales Executive to initiate their sales team in Arusha. As a Sales Executive, it would be your key role to sell packed cooking oil around local shops (Mangi Shops) in different areas of Arusha region. You will be responsible for introducing our client new packed cooking oil to the shops, who will then be selling to the final consumers. You will have to be dedicated enough to introduce, finding and winning new customers, as well as maintaining the customer from the time of initiating the business to its growth.

Depending on your market, your main customers will be retail shops, wholesalers, or individuals within your specific geographical area.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

·         Establish Routes Plan to market around Arusha

·         Ensure you sell the way our customers want for market to buy our product

  • Handle Route to Market to open new markets for the company products
  • Prospect and develop new business leads
  • Strategically identify sales opportunities in the field
  • Uphold the coverage plan while achieving the target.
  • Achieve your sales targets consistently despite obstacles if any.
  • Implement perfectly and immediately all designed promotions tools in each identified and targeted market
  • Maintain the integrity of all company assets primarily the vehicle driven, phone and other signage or POS materials given
  • Ensure accurate and timely cash collection per business policy; then deposit with the company cashier on daily basis.
  • Collaborate with management to achieve sales targets
  • Develop sales report on daily basis with clear indications of obstacles realized in the market
  • Build a sales strategy to ensure both long- and short-term goals and objectives are met.
  • Demonstrating business value to stockists, wholesalers, kiosks and other market players with the aim of listing company products with them.
  • Develop and cultivate customer relationships with both new and existing customers while achieving profit and revenue objectives

Skills & Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in Sales and Marketing is an added advantage.
  • 2-3 years of work experience preferably in bread manufacturing or at least in fast moving consumer goods-FMCG
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Focused with priority setting skills
  • Entrepreneurial with strong sense of initiative
  • Strong Leadership Skills
  • Familiar with Arusha Region is inevitable
  • Highly Self-driven individuals will be our priority
