CONSULTANCY SERVICE FOR PREPARATION OF PROJECT COMPLETION REPORT

REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (CONSULTING SERVICES – INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANT SELECTION)
1. The government of Tanzania has received financing from world bank towards the cost of the Southern Africa Trade and Transport Facilitation project SATTFP and intends to apply part of the proceed for consultancy services for the preparation of the project completion report
2. The consulting services include the preparation of the progress made with the respect to the agreed components under SATTFP provided an in-depth assessment of the project management and implementation activities and determinate what extent the project development objective of each of the components were met by the end of the project. The timeframe for the execution of this assignment is 3 months
3, TANROADS is an agency of the Ministry of Works, Communications and Transport now invites eligible individual consultants to indicate their interest providing the services. Interested consultancy should provide information demonstrated that they have the required qualification and relevant experience to perform the services such information may include update detailed CV dully signed and copies of academic, testimonials and professional certificate. The interested consultancy should have the following qualifications and experience
i. Minimum a degree in civil engineering, quantity surveying, economic or finance, procurement or other similar degree from a recognized university
ii. A post graduate qualification in project management(project or contract) will be an added advantage
iii. Minimum of 10 years cumulative experience in civil engineering infrastructure projects
iv. Must have served in similar capacity on at least 2 studies on preparation of project completion reports and experience in projects financed by multilateral development institution in the last 10 years
v. S/HE must have a working experience of at least 3 years in Sub-Sahara Africa and
vi. Proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory
4. The attention of interested consultancy is drawing to paragraph 1.9 of the world bank’s guidelines selection and employment of consultants under IBRD loans and IDA Credits & Grants by world bank borrowers, January 2011 revised July 2014 setting forth the world bank’s policy on conflict of interest
5. A consultancy will be selected in accordance with the selection of individual consultancy method set out in the consultancy guidelines

7. Expression of interest must be delivered in a written form to the address below(in person or by mail or by email ) on or before 10:00 local time on 24th April 2020
