Expression of Interest (EOI) for Provision of Catering Services for NMB Head office Staff.

The NMB Bank Plc. Management Tender Committee invites eligible, qualified and experienced catering services providers to express their interest for provision of catering services (Breakfast and Lunch) for seven hundred (700) staff at the Head office Building located at Ohio Street/Ali Hassan Mwinyi Road Dare es Salaam Tanzania;
The Selection and final shortlisting of vendors will be conducted through Open Competitive Tendering Procedures as specified in the NMB Bank Plc. Procurement Policy and Procedures;
This is not a request for proposals, henceforth after a review of the submitted applications for the expression of interest, a shortlist will be prepared. Shortlisted vendors will be Invited to submit their technical and financial proposals through a request for proposal document which will be shared;
The selection [short listing Criteria shall include:
- Possession of the following certificates for providing catering services from relevant authorities Business license, company certificate of incorporation, TIN, VAT Registration, OSHA Certificate, TFDA Certificate and Income TAX clearance:
- Submission of certified power of attorney document;
- Submission of certified declaration on Litigation information (relating to procurement) for your firm;
- The company must have not less than three years’ experience in provision of catering services;
- The company must provide at least three references from the recent performing catering services (must be within three years) of similar magnitude and nature to our request; ~
- Documentary evidence of financial capability, and capacity to undertake the assignment including two (2) years of company’s audited financial reports;
- Staffing levels must submit the list of key staff with their CVs demonstrating their ability to carry out the assignment and their medical examination clearance for the last six months;
- Indicate current physical location (which will be inspected for verification); that is a valid right of occupancy of office premises or lease contract and indicate if you have upcountry offices;
- Briefly demonstrate your capability in terms of technical knowledge in using modern equipment for catering services and human resource in terms of experience and skills of key personnel to provide service.
Please note that In assessing the submissions, consideration will be given to the above mentioned criteria. Only vendors meet the minimum requirements will be considered for shortlisting:
Interested eligible vendors may obtain further information from the Office of the Secretary, NMB Tender Committee, situated at NMB Head Office Ohio/Ali Hassan Mwinyi Street from 09H00 to 16H00 hours Monday to Friday except on public holidays (Please note that we are not issuing bid documents at this stage);
The deadline for submission of the applications will be at 15.00HRS on Friday 19th July 2019. Applications received will be opened promptly thereafter and in the presence of tenderers representatives who choose to attend in the opening ceremony at NMB Bank Plc Head Office on the first floor at the day of submission deadline. The applications must be delivered before the deadline, in a sealed envelope hand delivered or by courier t0 the Secretary NMB Tender Committee Ohio Street/Ali Hassan Mwinyi Road, R0. Box 921 3, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, NMB Bank Plc Head office deposited at the tender box located at the first floor. The outer cover shall be clearly marked: Expression of Interest for Provision of Catering 5m for NMB Head emu staff not to be opened before 15.00HRS on 19th July 2019;
Late applications, portion of applications, electronic applications, and applications not received. not opened and not read out aloud In public at the opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
