EXPRESION OF INTEREST
The Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children intends to apply for a grant from the Global Fund 4 towards the cost of Establishment of The Tanzania Health Supply Chain Portal and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to cover eligible payments under the contract for of Establishment of the Tanzania Health Supply Chain Portal
The Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children now invites eligible consultants to express their interest in providing the services for ”The Establishment of the Tanzania Health Supply Chain Portal”. The duration of the service is Forty Five (45) days from the signing of the contract.
The Purpose of this assignment is to develop a universal electronic platform that will provide end-to-end supply chain visibility to promote more effective, efficient supply chain operations. We need a consolidated repository of supply chain data which will Support supply chain stakeholders in decision making. That, the data and information collated by the supply chain portal will help in providing quick answers to some supply chain questions from stakeholders to inform their decision making. The portal will be useful as one-stop shop for supply chain issues and resources such as that Information related to monitoring commodity expiry rates, health commodities procurement tracker.
Interested and eligible consultants (firms) must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services by Submitting consultants profile, description of similar assignments, expertise in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff etc. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the public Procurement Act No. 7 of 2011 and the Public procurement Regulations, 2013 -Government Notice No. 446 as amended (hereafter called Procurement Regulations).
Selection will be conducted through the Quality and Cost based selection procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations. (2013 and amendments).
