PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR A FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR GEITA MINI SUGAR PROJECT (Plant and Plantations)
PROPOSAL NO: LGA/091/2019 – 2020/C/01
1. The Geita District Council has set aside fund to toward the cost for Provision of Consultancy Services For a Feasibility Study For Geita Mini Sugar Project (Plant and Plantations), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this fund to cover eligible payments under the contract for Provision of Consultancy Services for a Feasibility Study in financial year 2019/2020
2. The Council now invites eligible national and international firms to indicate their interest in providing the services which include Provision of Consultancy Services for a Feasibility Study for Geita Mini Sugar Project (Plant & Plantations), in financial year 2019/2020
3. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services by submitting consultant’s profile, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. consultant may associate to enhance their qualification
4. A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public Procurement Act No. 7 of 2011(amendment 2016) and the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013(amendment 2016) – Government Notice No. 446 (here in after called Procurement Regulations).
5. Selection will be conducted through combined technical and financial( Quality and Cost) based selection procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations.
6. Interested eligible consultants may obtain further information from the office of the Geita District Council, P.O.Box 139, Geita – Tender Board Secretary Office located at Nzera from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm on Mondays to Fridays except Saturdays, Sundays and Public holidays or through Geita District Council, email address [email protected]
7. Expression of interest must be sealed and clearly marked “EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR A FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR GEITA MINI SUGAR PROJECT (plant and plantations) and must be delivered to the address under paragraph 6. Above at or before 12.00 hrs local time on November 5th 2019
8. Late Expressions of Interest shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
