SUPPLY OF STAFF UNIFORMS FOR TANGA PORT STAFF
This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in the Daily News paper dated 3151 July, 2019.
Tanzania Ports Authority (TPA) has set aside funds in the financial year’2019/2020 budget for its operations lt is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Supply of Staff Uniforms for Tanga Port Staff as detailed in the schedule of requirement.
TPA now invites sealed tenders from eligible Suppliers of Staff Uniforms.
Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016, and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.

From 07: 30Am To 16:30pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional set may be purchased by interested Tenderer on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of TZS 50,000.00. Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to Port Manager-Tanga.
In case of payment by Cash, Tenderers are required to present a Bank slip upon deposit of the cash to account No. 020103001609NBCTanga Branch.
All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.
All tenders in one original plus one copy properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the office of Principal Procurement and Supply Officer, Supplies Building 1st floor room N05 at or before 10.00 am on Thursday 5th December, 2019. Tenders will be opened promptly there after in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Supplies Building, First (1“) Floor, Conference Room No. 11.
Late lenders, portion of tenders, electronic tenders, tenders not received, tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation inespective of the circumstances.
