INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST – PRE QUALIFICATIONS OF SUPPLY OF MOLASSES FOR GEITA GOLD MINING LIMITED TANZANIA
- INTRODUCTION
- Geita Gold Mining Limited and Anglo Glod Ashati Ltd is subsidiary is located in north western Tanzania in Lake Victoria goldfields of geita about 5 KM from Geita Town
- Geita Gold Mining Limited is looking for a supplier to supply 250 tonnes of molasses with destiny of 1400-1500KG/M3 which will be used for dust suppression to all internal roads (21 KM Road length) . the scope of work shall include supply and delivery to GMML site load test((tonnages & Densities) before off loading and after un-loading without compromising any statutory requirements
- INFORMATION REQUIRED
– Brief company profile-background ownership and organisation of the company
- Certified copy of certificate of incorporation/registration
- Certified copies of TIN and VAT registration certificates
- Tax clearance certificates
- Certified copy of valid business license
- OSHA Registration Certificates
- Compliance with the Mining(Local Content) Regulations 2018 and details of capability of the contractor to hire local resources and procure local goods
- Audited financial statement with notes to the financial statement for the last 3 years
- QUALIFICATIONS
The company will give preference to contractors who meets its minimum requirements in terms of the following criteria
- REALIABILITY – approach that will be used to ensure un-interrupted supply performance in the mining area and all other locations within the mine
- CAPABILITY – Contractors details of their capability to undertake the said supply to similar operations/clients, this may include suppliers assessment in terms of quality of key personnel, equipment and other facilities required or necessary to performs the works
- HEALTH SAFETY & ENVIROMENT – assessment of health, safety and environment management practice within suppliers organisation
- PERMITS & CERTIFICATIONS – contractors assessment in terms of evidence submitted to support government permits registration certification and any other statutory requirements relevant to the industry
- SUISTANABILITY – Assessment of contractors in terms of their local labour sourcing plans and training potential bidders commitment to the social development of the areas where the mine is located
- COMPETITIVE BIDDING – Interested parties must be willing to participate in the competitive bidding and provide competitive price and should be informed that competitive pricing will be one of the consideration in the bid evaluation
- FINANCIAL CAPABILITY – contractors assessment of financial capability necessary to performs the intended works
- LOCAL CONTENT – assessment of compliance with the Mining (Local Content) Regulations 2018
Interested bidders must submit their EOI Letter of interest by quoting the NAME OF REFERENCE NUMBER of the services they intended to express interest on together with supporting information to GGML which state the full name , address telephone and email address to bidders name of the principal contact an signed by authorized representatives, the LOI must outline a statement of firm capability to provide supply and delivery of goods and services including similar contracts undertaken over past years. All LOIs and support documentation must be received by the GGML office via email at [email protected] no later than 8:30 12 October 2020 the (LOI submission deadline) EOI submission deadline should not exceed 10 MB per Emil in case the size of the email exceed 10 MB please split the submission into the more than one email
