INVITATION FOR TENDERS
The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Chemba District Council during the financial year 2018/2019. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the implementation of water supply scheme in Chemba District
The Chemba District Council now invites sealed Tenders from eligible sealed tenders from Eligible and Qualified;
Civil Engineering Contractors under Contractor’s Registration Board (CRB) Registered Class VI or above
to carry out the implementation of Water Supply Schemes in Chemba District Council involving Construction Of Civil Works for Pumped Schemes including Construction Of Pump House, Water Tank. Pipe Networks, Purchase, Supply and Installation of Submersible Pump, Water Stand Points and Supply of electricity from power source (TANESCO) to the Borehole including step down transformer.
Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, Government Notice No.446 of 2013 (As amended in 2016) and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated In the Tender Data Sheet.

Time should be from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.

Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender securing declaration in the format provided in the Tendering documents unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.
A complete set of Tendering Document in English may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a Non-Refundable fee of Tshs 100,000 (Tanzanian shilling one hundred thousand). Payment should either be by Cash or by Bank (in Bank Account). Account number 50210002627 NMB – KONDOA.
All tender must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the bidding document. Anti- Bribery Policy and Special Power of Attorney with a Board of Directors’ Resolution.
Site visit will be held on Tuesday 21 St May, 2019 and departure time will be at 9:00 a.m, the journey will start at Chemba District Council Headquarters’ Office located in Chemba town. All costs associated with transportation to sites will be covered by Tenderers themselves.
All Tenders in One (1) original plus Two (2) copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address; District Executive Director, Chemba District Council P.O. Box 830, CHEMBA and submit to the Procurement Management Unit office.
The deadline for submission of bid document will be on Tuesday 4th JUNE, 2019, at 10:30 a.m East Africa local time. Tender will be opened promptly thereafter in Public and in presence of Tenderers’ representative who choose to attend in the opening at Chemba District Council Office.
Late tenders, portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, Tenders not opened at the Tender opening ceremony and Tenders not received shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
