FOR SUB-CONTRACTING
This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared on PPRA Website at www.ppra.go.tzon 5thAugust, 2019.
The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Dar es Salaam City Council (DCC) during the financial year 2019/2020 It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the Sub-Contract for which this invitation for Tenders is issued.
The Dar es Salaam City Council (DCC) now invites sealed tenders from eligible National sub-contractors (Specialist Mechanical Works) registered in Class One as Indicated in the table below by Contractors Registration Board of Tanzania.

Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016 and is open to national Tenderers only as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.
Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of The Secretary of Tender Board, Dar es Salaam City Council PO. Box 9084 Dar es Salaam,Ground floor PMU’s Office from 9:00am to 3:00pmon Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English Language and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Two hundred thousand Tanzanian shillings only (Tshs. 200,000/=). Payment should either be by Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to Dar es Salaam City Council Bank Account No. 0150211141600 at CRDB PLC. Applicants are responsible to collect bid documents either in personal or through Courier upon presentation of proof of payment.
All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering documents.
All tenders in one original plus two copies properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the office of the Tender Board Secretary, PO. Box 9084 Dar es Salaam, Ground floor PMU’s Office at or before 14:00 hours local time on 12thSeptember, 2019. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Board Room, 2nd floor-City Hall at the junction of Morogoro Road/ Sokoine Drive.
Late tenders, portion of tenders, electronic tenders, and tenders not received, tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstance.
