GOOD NEIGHBORS PROFILE

Good Neighbors is an international non-profit organization that was founded in the Republic of Korea in 1991. In 1996, Good Neighbors received “General Consultative Status” from United Nations’ Economic and Social Council, the highest level for non-profit organization and currently operating projects in 35 developing countries throughout the World. Goo Neighbors Tanzania, based in Dar es Salaam, has been currently operating various projects such as community development projects including education, health, income generation activities, WASH. social enterprise, advocacy and emergency response in nine (9) different regions throughout the United Republic of Tanzania since 2005

Good Neighbors Tanzania through Mwanza Area Office is implementing a number of Projects in Kome Island and Chifunfu ward which include education support. Health support, water and sanitation support and community partnership. Good Neighbors Tanzania Mwanza Area Office also is carrying out the Exit Program for monitoring impact of the maternal and newborn health project which was implemented by GNTZ since 2015 in Kishapu district, Shinyanga region.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for consideration of the tender, a qualified supplier should send a sealed envelope marked with tender number and list of the items you would like to supply; e.g.

“Tender No. GNTZ/MAO/T/002/2019” (Printing CHW books and supply of stationery for office and primary school students).

Note: The following documents [in hard copy) MUST be attached/enclosed as follows:

• Profile of the company with physical address
• Past experience in the activity(es] of related nature
• Job and client reference
• List of available/quoted items with price (quotation must be filled in the document provided here)
• Proof of legal registration [Relevant certificates)
• TRA registration(VAT,TIN Registration)
• Bank Account Information related with the company name

N.B: The Company MUST provide a proof of EFD Receipts.

The Deadline for Tender submission

Tenders should be delivered at our office located in Mwanza, Medical Research, Plot 11 Block A, Bwiru before 13:00hrs on 28th May 2019. Late Submission and lncorrect Quotations are not going to be considered for evaluation.

The Tender Opening

Tender opening will take place on 28th may 2019 at 14: 30 at Good Neighbors Tanzania Mwanza Area Office whereby all applicants are invited to attend the session.

Procurement Entity Details	All goods should be delivered at Good neighbors Tanzania-Mwanza Area Office located in Mwanza, Medical Research, Plot no 198, Block A. Bw1ru. For services, Items will depend on the nature and type of service.
Commencement Date	Commencement date for supplying goods or tendering services will start soon after tender evaluation and issuance of the local purchase order upon Signing  of the contract
Completion Date	Completion date for supplying of goods or rendering serv1ces will be determined depending on the nature of goods to be supplied or services to be rendered and communicated through issuance of Local purchasing order upon signing of contract.
Determination of Lowest Evaluation Tender	The Tender with the lowest evaluated price, from among those which are eligible, compliant  and substantially responsive shall be the lowest evaluated tender.

Lowest Evaluated Tender rejected	Good Neighbors may reject a tender if the Procuring Entity has determined that the price In combination with other constituent  elements of the tender is abnormally low in relation to the subject matter of the procurement scope of works or services and raises  concerns as to the ability of the tendered that presented that tender to perform  the contract.
Criteria of Award	Good Neighbors will award contract to the tendered whose Tender has been determined to be substantially responsive to the Tendering Documents and who has offered the lowest Evaluated tender Price, provided that such Tendered has been determined to be.
Complaints	Good Neighbors Tanzania will no longer deal with complaints regarding the evaluation of the tender. The decision made by evaluation committee will be considered  final decision.
