ASSIGNMENT TITTLE CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR DESIGN OF A MASTER PLAN FOR A NATIONAL MUSCULATURE RESOURCES CENTRE (NMRC) AT KUNDUSHI DAR ES SALAAM

This invitation foe expression of interest follows the general procurement notice for the south West Indian Ocean fisheries governance and shared growth program SWIOFISH that was published in the development business issued no WB 4892 OF October 2015
The government of the United Republic of Tanzania has received a credit from the international development association towards the cost of the south West Indian ocean fisheries governance and shared growth program and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services
The consulting services (the services) include
Provide technical advice and guidance on viable scope key components and layout of the proposed national muriculture resources center and then to undertake detailed design for the agreed upon layout including preparation of detailed design drawings with corresponding description of function capacity environmental and social impact assessment bills of quantity estimated budget and bidding documents
The shortlisting criteria are the consulting firm shall have extensive experience n the field of design of muriculture centres hatcheries or similar types of infrastructure. The firm must have completed at least 3 similar projects in the past 10 years. Experience in designing facilities in tropical climates is must and availability of appropriate skills among staff
The attention of interested consultant is drawn to paragraph 1.9 of the world bank guidelines selection and employment of consultant under the IRBD Loans and IDA Credits and grants world bank borrowers January 2011 revised July 2014(consultant guidelines) setting forth the world bank policy and conflict of interest
A consultancy will be selected in accordance with consultancy qualification selection method set out in the consultants guidelines
