INVITATION FOR TENDER
This Specific Procurement notice for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Region which was posted In the Authority’s Journal and Tenders Portal on 03rd May, 2018.
The Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) through the Regional Manager’s Office Lindi has been allocated Funds towards the cost for Road maintenance works on various road sections and Intends to use part of the proceed of this allocation to cover eligible payments under the contracts.
The Regional Manager TANROADS Lindl on behalf of the Chief Executive TANROADS now Invites sealed tenders from eligible Civil Engineering Contractors registered with the Contractor: Registration Board In six(6) and above listed tender below:

Tendering will be conducted through the procedures Specified In the table above for each tender and It Is open to National Tenderers only.
Interested eligible tenderers may obtain further Information from and Inspect the tendering documents at the Regional Manager’s office TANROADS Lindi located In Lindi Town, along Kawawa Road, P. O. Box 1022, Lindi from 8:00 am. to 4:30 pm. on Mondays to Fridays Inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Document(s) In English Language and additional sets may be purchased by Interested Tenderers upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tshs 100,000.00. for each tender. Payment should either be by Cash, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to the Regional Manager TANROADS P.0 Box 1022 Lindi. All tenders must be accompanied by duly filled Tender Securing Declaration (Format Provided In the tender documents)
All tenders, one original plus three (3) copies properly filled in and enclosed In plain sealed envelopes must be delivered or sent to the address below at or before 10.00 hours on 09th May 2019. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and In the presence of tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend at the Regional Manager’s Office, conference room LindI.
The outer cover shall clearly be marked either “TENDER NO. FOR REHABILITATION WORKS OF NAME NAME ROADS AT NGONGO VILLAGE TO BITUMINOUS SURFACINGN LINDI REGION NOT TO BE OPENED BEFORE 10:00 HOURS ON Q11?! MAY, 2019”
Late tenders, portion of tenders, electronic tenders, and tenders not received, tenders not opened and not read out In public at the tender opening ceremony she“ not be accepted for evaluation in’espective of the circumstances.
