ROADS REHABILITATION, UPGRADING TO PAVED STANDARD, MAINTENANCE AND CONSTRUCTION OF DRAINAGE STRUCTURES WORKS.
RE-INVITATION FOR TENDERS
This Re-invitation for tender follows the general procurement notice for these projects which sent to PPRA on 19th June for advertisement and appeared in the PPRA tender portal on 21st June 2018. and in the Tanzania procurement journal VOL. XI number 28 of 10 11 July, 2018.
The Government of the united Republic of Tanzania has set aside fund for the operation of the Tanzania Rural and Urban roads Agency(TARURA) Mtwara Region Office, in the Financial Year 2018/2019 for construction, rehabilitation, upgrading to paved standards and maintenance of road networks within the Region. It is intended that pan of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payments under the contracts for advertised road works.
The Tanzania Rural and Urban Roads Agency (TARURA) through the Regional Coordinator Mtwara, invites sealed Tenders from eligible National Civil Works Contractors registered with Contractors Registration, Board (CRB) in classes as shown for the project hereunder.

Tendering will be conducted through the National competitive bidding procedures specified in the Public Procurement (Goods, Works, Non Consultant Service and Disposal of Public Assets by Tender) Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 ,Regulation, 2016 of Government Notice No.333Published on 30/12/2016 and are open to National Tenderers only as defined in the Regulations.
interested eligible tenderes may obtain information from and inspect the tender documents at the office of the Secretary of the TARURA delegated Tender Board P.O.BOX 1443 Mtwara at USHIRIKA BUILDING (MAMCU), TANU ROAD adjacent to TANZANIA POSTAL OFFICE from 7:30 to 15:30 HRS on monday to friday exept on public holidays only.
A complete set of tendering document(s) and additional sets may be purchased by interested tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5. above and Upon payment of non-refundable fee of Tsh.100,000/= Payment should be by banker’s draft payable to REGIONAL COORDINATOR TARURA MTWARA (Account name TARURA MTWARA DISTRICT COUNCIL, NMB A/C NUMBER 70610024268). Prospective bidders should come with the original pay in slip from bank for obtaining ERV Receipt.
All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender securing’ declaration in the format provided in the Tendering documents.
All tenders in ONE original plus THREE copy OF THE SAME properly filled in and enclosed in a plain envelope must be delivered to the address of the SECRETARY OF THE TARURA DELEGATED TENDER BOARD, P.O.BOX 1443 MTWARA, at USHIRIKA BUILDING (MAMCU), TANU ROAD adjacent to TANZANIA POSTAL OFFICE at or before 10:00HRS on 9th May, 2019. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public in the presence of tenders representatives and any other interested parties who choose to attend in the opening ceremony at the TARURA REGIONAL COORDINATOR OFFICE MTWARA.
Late tenders, partial tenders, electronic tenders, tenders not received, tenders not opened and tenders not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the Circumstances.
