TANZANIA BROADCASTING CORPORATION
INVITATION FOR BIDS
1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation website on 11/08/2018 and in Tanzania Procurement Journal Issue No.31 dated 31st July, 2018.
2. The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation during the financial year 2018/2019. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payments under the contract for the supply of goods, works, consultancy services and non-consultancy services.
3. The Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation now invites sealed bids from eligible tenderers for the following tenders:

4. Bidding will be conducted through the procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government Notice No. 446 and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Regulations.
5. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary of the Tender Board, Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation, Broadcasting House, Nyerere Road, Room No. 48, 2nd Floor, P. O. Box 9191, Dar es Salaam-Tanzanla from 8:30 am to 15:30hrs on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
6. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzania Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only (TZS. 100,000.00) or equivalent In a freely convertible currencies. Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’s Draft or Banker’s Cheque, payable to The Director General, Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation.
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender securing declaration/Tender Security as specified in their respective tender document in the format provided in the Tendering documents unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.
8. All bids in One original plus Two copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address below at or before date and hours specified in paragraph 3 above. Bids will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Morris Nyunyusa Conference Room of Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation , Broadcasting House, Nyerere road P.O.BOX 9191 Dares Salaam-Tanzanla
9. All bids must be sealed, marked on the envelope with the relevant tender number and description. Bids sent by post must be registered. The Out cover shall be marked TENDER NO (… ) FOR (…) NOT TO BE OPENED BEFORE 14:00HRS, on or before date specified in paragraph 3 above.
10. Late Bids, Portion of Bids, Electronic Bids, Bids not received, Bids not opened and not read out in public at the bid opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
