TENDER INVITATION
This invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for the year 2018/19 which appeared in the Guardian of 27th August, 2018.
Tanzania P0 125 Authority (TPA) has set aside funds in its 2018/2019 budget to cover for. TENDER Mo. AE/016/2018-19/CTB/CG/13 LOT 2-7 FOR SUPPLY AND COMMISSIONING FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEM AT KOJ – DSM (LOT 2), ONE (1) HEAVY DUTY PRIME MOVER DIESEL ENGINE WITH JOCKEY PUMP FOR KOJ DSM (LOT 3), FIRE HYDRANT SYSTEM AT MWANZA SOUTH AND NORTH PORT (LOT 4), FIRE HHYDRANT SYSTEM AT KIWIRA AND ITUNDI PORT AT KYELA (LOT 5), FIRE HYDRANT SYSTEM AT KIGOMA PORT (LOT 6) AND AUTOMATIC FIRE DETECTION AT TANGA PORT (LOT 7).
TPA now invites sealed tenders under National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act No 70f 2011 (Goods, Works, Non-Consultancy Service and Disposal of Public Assets by Tender) Regulations, 2013Government Notice No. 446.
Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of the Director of Procurement and Contracts, TPA One Stop Center Building, 26TH floor Conference Room located at Sokoine Drive, Near TRA Long Room Building P. O. Box 91 84, Dar es Salaam from 09.00 a. m. to 4. 00 p. m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of the tendering document and additional sets may be obtained free of charge at the office mentioned In para 4 above.
All tenders must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration in the format provided in Section IX of the tender Document. Insurance Bonds will not be accepted. Tenders not accompanied by a tender security will be rejected.
All Tenders duly completed in one original plus one copy should be submitted in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked “TENDER No. AE/016/2018-19/CTB/CG/13 FOR SUPPLY AND COMMISSIONING OF FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEM AT KOJ DSM(LOT 2), ONE (1) HEAVY DUTY PRIME MOVER DIESEL ENGINE WITH JOCKEY PUMP FOR KOJ DSM (LOT 3), FIRE HYDRANT SYSTEM AT MWANZA SOUTH AND NORTH PORT(LOT 4), FIRE HYDRANT SYSTEM AT KIWIRA PORT AT KYELA(LOT 5), FIRE HYDRANT SYSTEM AT KIGOMA PORT (LOT 6) AND AUTOMATIC FIRE DETECTION AT TANGA PORT (LOT 7) and addressed to Secretary, Central Tender Board, TPA One Stop Center Building, Sokoine Drive P.O.Box 9184, Dar es Salaam or deposited in the Tender Box which is in TPA One Stop Center Building, 26‘h floor, located at Sokoine Drive, Near TRA Long Room Building, before the deadline for submission of bids. Bidders may quote for any of the lots or all lots. Tenders will be awarded on lot basis.
Pre bid meeting will be held as follows:
27th September, 2019 on 26th Floor, One Stop Centre Building Dar Es Salaam for Lot 2 & 3, .
30th September, 2019 Port Master’s Office at Mwanza Port for Lot 4,
7th October, 2019 Port Master’s Office at ltungi Port Kyela for Lot 5,
2nd October, 2019 Port Master’s Office at Kigoma Port for Lot 6 and
4th October, 2019 Port Master’s Office at Tanga Port
The time fixed for all meetings is 10.00 am. local time.
The deadline for submission of tenders shall be 18″I October, 2019 at 10.00 am. local time; thereafter all tenders will be opened publicly in Bandari Tower One Stop Center Building, located at V2 Plot along Sokoine Drive Avenue, 26‘h floor, Conference Room. Bidders and/or their Representatives who wish to witness the opening are welcome to attend.
Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
Note that Tanzania Ports Authority is not obliged to accept the lowest or any Bid.
