INVITATION FOR TENDER

1. This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice which appeared in the Tanzania Procurement Journal of PPRA dated
11Th June, 2019.
2. The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds through Road Fund for the operation of the TARURA Mwanza Region during the financial year 2019/2020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Routine/Recurrent Maintenance, Periodic Maintenance, Spot Improvement, Bridge Major Repair (Box Culverts), Road Safety, Road Marking 8r Important Signs for People with Disabilities and Rehabilitation Works on Various Roads. for F/Y
2019/2020.
3. The TARURA REGIONAL COORDINATOR MWANZA on behalf of Chief Executive, TARURA now invites sealed bids from eligible National Civil Engineering Contractors registered with the Contractors Registration Board (CRB) in classes specified in the Table below for Routine/Recurrent Maintenance, Periodic Maintenance, Spot Improvement, Bridge Major Repair (Box Culverts), Road Safety, Road Marking 8r Important Signs for People with Disabilities and Rehabilitation Works on Various Roads. The estimated quantities for Major Work’s items for the below mentioned Bid No. AE/092/2019/2020/MZA/W/01-S2 to be implemented for different

Tendering w ill be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering(NCT) procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016 and is open to national Tenderers only as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.
5. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Delegated Secretary of Tender Board, located at lsamilo International loop opposite Near Medical research Area in Mwanza Regional Coordinator’s Office (REC), P.O.Box 18, Mwanza, from 8:00 AM to 4:00PM on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
6. A complete set of Tendering Documents in English and additional sets may be purchased by any interested eligible Tenderer on submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of non – Refundable fee ofTZS. 100,000.00 for each Tender. 7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.

- TENDER BOARD, TARURA-MWANZA P.O.BOX 18,MWANZA, IN REC’S CONFERENCE HALL LOCATED AT ISAMILO INTERNATIONAL LOOP AREA .Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence ofTenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at or Before 10:00 AM Tuesday on 30th July, 2019 at the REGIONAL COORDINATOR CONFERENCE ROOM MWANZA REGION AT ISAMILO AREA.
9. Late tenders, portion of tenders, electronic tenders, tenders not received, tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
