For Upgrading of roads to bituminous standard of Makete Township, Ludewa Urban, Makambako Township and construction of Ruhuji bridge along Mabatini-Ramadhani road .
INVITATION FOR TENDERS
The government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the TARURA Njombe region during the financial year 2019/2020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract mentioned below:
TARURA Regional coordinator Njombe, om behalf of TARURA Chief Executive officer now invites sealed tenders from eligible civil National contractors registered in various classes as mentioned in the schedule below to carry out those projects.
Tendering will be conducted through the National competitive tendering procedures specified in the Public procurement Regulations, 2013Govemment Notice No. 446 and is open to National Tenderers only as defined in the regulations.
Interested eligible tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the tendering documents at the office of the Secretary of the Tender Board, Regional Coordinator’s Office, P.0. Box 842, Njombe, located in Njombe Region (SIDO Offices) from 7.30 am. to 3.30 pm working hours. Monday to Friday. except on public holidays and weekend days.
A complete set of Tendering documents in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application letter with all company details including TIN to the address given under paragraph five (4) above and upon payment of a none Refundable fee of Tanzania shillings One hundred thousand only (100,000). The bidder shall collect Control Number for payment which shall directly be made to TARURA COLLECTION Account Number 53010001080 (NMB), and bring original bank pay slip to TARURA Regional Coordinator’s Office Njombe and receive Tender Document from Procurement Management Unit.
All tenders must be accompanied by a tender securing declaration in the format provided in the tender documents.
All tenders in one original plus two copies from true copy of the original must be delivered to the address given under paragraph 4 at or before 10:00 am. Local hours on Wednesday 28th August, 2019. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at SIDO hall nearby TARURA Regional coordinator’s office
Late Tenders, portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, and Tenders not received, Tenders not opened at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
A The Site visit will be on Thursday and Friday (15th -16th August, 2019 ) at 8:30 am. local hours and costs of visiting the Site shall be at the Tenderers own expenses.
