SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF ELECTROMAGNETIC WATER METERS
Invitation for Pre-qualification
1. This Invitation for prequalification follows the General Procurement Notice for this project that appeared in the PPRA Tender Penal of24′ April, 2019 and Tanzania Procurement Journal No. 20 0114‘ May, 2019.
2. blame Shinyanga Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (KASHWASA) has set aside funds in the Financial Yea2019/2020 for water production and intends to use part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the contract fat Supply and installation of Electromagnetic Water meters.
3. Kahama Shinyanga Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (KASHWASA) intends to pre-qualify applicants for Supply any installation of Electromagnetic Water Meters . It is expected that invitations to tender will be made in September, 2019.
4. Pre-qualification will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures Specified ‘n the Pubic Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016. and, and is open to all Applicants as defined in the Regulations.
5. Interested applicants may obtain further information from and inspect the pre-qualification documents at the office of the Tender Board Secretary, Kahama Shinyanga Water Supply and Sanitation Authority, Old Shinyanga Road, Block A, 110. Box 1246, Shinyanga, from 8.00am 4.00pm, Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
6. A complete set of pre-qualification documents in English may be purchased by interested applicants on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzania Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only (125. 100,000). Payment should be made directly to the Authority’s Control number issued to the bidder.
7. All applications in one original plus three (3) copies, properly filled in and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered in the address under paragraph 5 above on or before 26″ August, 2019 10:00am. Applications will be opened promptly them after il public and in the presence of applicants‘ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Conference Room within KASHWASA’S premises located at Old Shinyanga Road near NAFRAC Offices.
8. Late applications, portion of applications, electronic applications, and applications not received, applications not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances .
